Store fresh herbs upright in water
Kitchen & FoodTreat cut herbs like flowers, stems in water and loosely covered, to keep them fresh for up to a week.
- Trim stems
- 1 inch water
- Cover loosely
- Fridge, swap water
Steps
- Trim the herb stems.
- Stand the herbs in a glass with about 1 inch of water.
- Cover loosely with a perforated plastic bag so air can circulate.
- Refrigerate and change the water daily.
